Sweet and sour pork Chongqing style:

Pork:

300g pork sliced thin stips

1 tbsp cornstarch

lil bit water

4 tbsp oil


Sauce:

1 tbsp spicy bean paste (Pixian Dou Ban)

3 cloves garlic minced

3 scallions diced

1 thumb-sized piece of ginger minced


Gravy:

1 tbsp sugar

2 tbsp black vinegar

1 tbsp cornstarch

3 tbsp water

1 tspn MSG


1.Mix pork. starch, & water

2.Mince garlic & ginger. Mix gravy inferdients

3.Heat oil in a wok, cook pork for 2min

4.Add bean paste, garlic & ginger to the wok for 1min

5.Add pork to the wok, add gravy, stir-fry until sauce thickens
